I have had so much fun with the Family Circle pattern! I have four daughters. I made a Family Circle queen size quilt in each of their favorite colors and style of material to commemorate their graduation from college. They have very different personalities and it was wonderful to be able to buy material and make the quilts each unique while using the same consistent pattern of the Family Circle. I was able to capture their different personalities but still stay consistent with the pattern!! I even made a lap size one for my nephew when he got married last year. It too was entirely different but reflected their interior colors and personality. Thank you so much for sharing this pattern with all of us!

I am so pleased with my new "Stars and Stripes" quilt from Abracadabra. The whole process was a pleasure. About ten years ago I made a few personal quilts. I stopped piecing quilts after a difficult project that ended poorly. When I came across this pattern it turned out to be just the right one for me. I found the instructions easy to understand and if for any reason I did not "get it", I just had to replay the part of the instructions that I needed and then proceed on. It was lots of fun and got me back to my old friend, the sewing machine. Thank you Wendy for bringing the Abracadabra patterns to a wider group of sewers! - Sincerely, Robbie Brand
Looking to do an easy and fast beginner quilt, Grateful Heart would be a great one to start with! Straight lines, no triangles. Very straight forward! I would like to do them all. I had a great time doing this one. Fastest quilt I have ever constructed!
